The LIFT Collective is a community of Indigenous women-owned businesses. After operating only out of social media platforms and a small information website, they wanted to create a comprehensive shop directory to help users find and support local Indigenous businesses.

With some research into other directories focused on marginilized entrepreneurs and stakeholder meetings with a LIFT representative who gave us requirements for the design. The most important goal was that the finished product be able to be carried through easily by people at LIFT: no-code and low cost.

I built my design around these conditions, giving them a deliverable built in a free-hosting website builder, using the same tools they would be using with some additional components that were easy to find and utilize, such as the filters feature.
